Happy New Year!!!

Hey all,
2008 IS HERE!!!

It's hard to believe we have already began another year. God is sooooo good to us!!!! As I take a moment to think over the past year, I see how God has lead and protected and supplied, just like He promised!!!!! May, Aug, and Sept, were pretty quiet. But the rest of the year....!!!!
Jan. started off with ear infections/flu which lasted about a week or so.
Feb. the heater smoked up the church, and also we had camp meeting in Donna,
March 1 was our accident and finding another vehicle
April was work day at church (which involved a week or so getting prepared for it)
June we took a trip to KS for my family reunion
July I had my gall bladder surgery
Oct. work at the corn maze began
Nov. visit from the Planks and Rines, and Thanksgiving
Dec. Christmas Program, and Christmas Holiday

Yes, I did make some resolutions. Yes, I plan to write them down and keep them!!! I just started a book called "Lord of the Impossible". If it looks to be impossible, all we have to remember is that with God ALL things are possible, and trust Him to see us through!!! This coming year, I intend to draw closer to God and become more like Him!! I also intend to be a better wife to my husband (in order to do that, I need to study the Bible and find out what God's plan is for me as a wife.) I intend to budget my time better so that things get done and I feel good about what I have accomplished each day. I also intend to pray more, and trust God more, so ya'll look out!!!! You never know what God will do if you just petition and trust!!!!! Honestly, if every person who calls themselves a Christian would simply follow God, trust Him in all things, and do NOTHING until they have concluded that it is either something that Jesus would do, or are 200% sure it's all in God's will, the world would be revolutionized!! If you don't believe me, try it for yourself, and maybe influence others in your area to do the same, and see what happens in your "world." If enough people do this, the entire world would feel the effects of it. I'd like to challenge YOU in this new year to do just that. It won't be easy, but "With God alll things are possible" and He will not leave you alone in this quest for more of Him!!!
