Valentines Day

Hey all,
Happy Belated Valentines day to you all!! I didn't get to blog yesterday because it was Ron's only day off this week, and when he's off, we do things together so sometimes I don't even get to check email, let alone sit down and blog!!! We had a GREAT day yesterday, (which also happens to be my birthday). We had a little bit of "work" to do in preparation for the arrival of our chicks, and we did a little bit of lanscaping work, but other than that, we pretty much took it easy!! For the first time since we've been married, Ron took me out to eat for Valentines/B-day. The biggest disappointment of the day was then. We had planned on eating at either Outback Steakhouse, or Texas Roadhouse, but both places had HOURS wait!!! So, we ended up eating at the Golden Corral. It was good, less expensive, but still not what we were wanting, so we were a little disappointed. Ron did get Shrimp, which he never gets unless we eat out, and I got lemon pie AND carrot cake (it was my birthday, I had the right!!), which I never get unless we eat out.

The BEST part of the day was when we went to town. We had to go to the pet store and get feed for the chicks, and then to wal-mart to return some stuff, and we had to stop somewhere else too. Before we stopped there, Ron told me I had to close my eyes, and keep them closed until he told me I could open them. So, we're driving down the road, my eyes are closed, then we stop, Ron gets out of the truck, but doesn't shut it off. Then about 10 min later (at least it FELT that long!!!) my door opens, and Ron says I can open my eyes now. I look, and he's holding this big bouguet of flowers!!! I really was surprised, and very pleased. They are really pretty, (and Renee, they were already in a vase in water so I didn't have to worry about it!!)

All in all, it was a great day!! God has blessed me with a wonderful husband, and it was soooo enjoyable to be able to spend the whole day with him!!

P.S. I really don't know when the next time will be. Since I am teaching and still have all the housework and stuff to do, my computer time is extremely limited. Just keep checking back!! Sorry about not having pictures. I had ONE loading for about 25 minutes, and it still hadn't loaded yet. Don't know what the deal is. Didn't used to be like this, even with the current camera. Any ideas/suggestions? (Can't get wireless. It's not available in our area, at least not last we checked.) The good news is, I am saving for a laptop, so when I get that, maybe I can bounce off at Burger King every once in a while!!!
