Still here

Hey all,
I am still here, just blogging isn't real high on my list of things to do. I do so hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas!! We had a really good one. We were unable to go "home" for any of the holidays this year, so we just stayed home and celebrated by ourselves. This was the first year we've done that, and it was really nice!! I enjoyed it a lot, although we did miss our families. Maybe next year...

As we look into the New Year, we do so with multiple questions. I, for one, choose not to worry about the uncertainties 2009 will bring, in the church, in our home, in politics, but choose instead to trust the One who has it all in His control!! Nothing will happen this year without God not only knowing it will happen, but nothing will happen without His permission. It's my goal this year to spend time with Him every day, and to draw closer to Him. I intend to be ready when the time comes that He calls me, whether it's just me, or if He returns to take all those that believe Him. I can not insure that you are ready, only you can do that, but I can insure that I am ready, and with God's help, I will be.

I do not have time to post often, and I usually don't have time to spend long on each post. I am planning to do a personal Bible study on the role of a biblical wife. I plan on sharing my findings, should I have the time to do that, so please don't go away. It's so long between postings that I don't know how many readers no longer read, but if you are reading this, please don't give up on me!! I'm going to need your feedback on the Bible studies. Anyway, sometimes I wonder if this is just a big waste of time anyway, since I don't even know if anyone reads it (besides my family and a couple of others).

We've been busy with more improvements on the church, and we just ordered wood for a project for the house, so we are excited about what's happening there. I intended to get pictures already of the church, but haven't yet. Will try to get that done as soon as we get the plants (silk of course) for the platform (which should be next week.)

To those who continue to check up, thank you!! I am hoping that maybe life will slow down a little here soon (but don't really expect it to - O me of little faith!!) Until then, don't go away!!

Until next time,
Esther

Hey! You should get a visitor map...its fun to see where people are looking from and how many hits you have a day. Go to my blog and click on my map and I think it'll give you a link to make your own. It only takes a few minutes. =) Have a great rest of the week!
