Back to the grindstone!!

Hey all,
Well, "vacation" is over. Ron's sister returned home last Saturday, and we've been back to the grindstone ever since. We really enjoyed her visit, and had a lot of fun!!! I didn't get many pics though. During her visit we went to Mexico, and yes, we got corn rows again!!! (but no pics this time.) Then we went back to the birding center Ron and I visited a couple of months ago. We saw lots of different birds this time (the parauque was still there, protected by dead branches so we couldn't get close like last time. There were signs asking visitors to stay on the trail so as not to disturb it, so we knew exactly where it was, and it didn't take long to locate it.) and Ron got several really good pictures that we're planning to enlarge and replace some wildlife pics we already have. We got to see one of the big alligators "up close". He came completely out of the water, on the opposite bank, so we were able to zoom in and get some really good, close pics. We also spent some time on the beach and had a blast riding waves on our boogie boards. The water temp. was in the 60's so it was pretty cold, but we still had a good time. We also went to eat Mexican, and did some mini-golfing. All in all, we had a really good time, and we all got to relax and have fun. This week I ended up with a bug that's been going around, so that hasn't been so much fun, but you have to have the "bad" with the "good" I guess.

The next couple weeks we'll continue to be busy!!! We have plans to finally do the driveway!! We've been raising money for quite some time, and now we can finally see it done!!! That is on the agenda for the first full week in April. We are excited about it, but there's lots to do to get everything ready. I'll have to remember to get some pics to share.
