Vacation!!!

Hey all!!!
Guess it's been a couple of days huh?!!! Well, it's been a busy week already, and it's only Tues!!! We had a good weekend, not really relaxing, but good. Ron washed the truck really good, and then we waxed it. It was really hot on Sat when we did this, and we didn't pay attention to how fast the wax was drying, so we didn't start rubbing it off soon enough, and boy was it difficult!!!!!!! We finally finished about 3 hours after we started!! Don't ever want to do that again!! The heat index was in the triple digits, and has been all this week too!!!!!

We are going to be leaving on Thurs for a week of vacation!! I am not going to say I won't be blogging because I will have access to internet, but don't be surprised if you don't hear from me until after we get back on the 21st. I decided I'd better do this today, because tomorrow will be filled with backing and getting last minute things finished up, plus church in the evening. Yesterday, we went to Wal-Mart to get our munchies for the trip, and when Ron went to checkout (I had to run something back to it's place since we decided to get something different instead. We try not to be like sooooooo many down here and just leave it wherever instead of returning it to the rightful place.) Anyway, he reached for his wallet, and it wasn't there!!! No, it didn't get stolen, he just didn't change after waxing the truck 2 more times (we kept on it this time, and was able to wax it twice in half the time it took for the first time!!!) and he'd left all his pocket stuff on the bed after changes from his work uniform. Anyway, they held our stuff, we ran on up to another store to pick up some pictures (the didn't cost us anything...another story, for another time!!!) and then back home to get the wallet, and then back to Wal-Mart!!! Needless to say, it was late before we got to bed!!! (a little after 10, which is still early for some folks!!!!!)

Well, anyway, I am so excited about seeing my family!!! Just 2 more days now!!! I will be sure and put some pics on next time!!! You all take care, and enjoy your week!!!!! It's a little early, but Happy Father's Day to my Daddy, and to all the other Dad's that may read this!!! Hope you all have a good weekend!!!!!

Oh, by the way, since I don't tell the SS Charlie story until Wed. night, and we won't be home this weekend, the next part of the story will have to wait until I return!!! Stay tuned!!!!

P.S. One thing about being in KS for the rest of this week is that the temps are supposed to be about 20 degress cooler!!! YEAH!!!!!!!
