Promised Pictures

Hey everyone,


I know its been a looooong time!!! Please forgive me!! We were busy with company, and then I spent a few days taking it easy!!! I slept in, read, and crosstitched, and totally forgot about the blog until it was too late to do anything about it!!! This morning, I didn't sleep in, but I did read and crosstitch, but decided that I'd take time to do this today. I've divided up my housecleaning so that I only have about an hour per day for that, and so I have justified that it's ok to do this first today. As long as I have everything done by 2, I'll still be on schedule!!!!
This is my nephew, son of my "baby" sister, who will be 3 on Aug. 1. He is soooo precious!! He cooperated very well for Uncle Ron to take his pictures!! Ron really does an awesome job with the camera!!!! Hopefully, enough people in this area will/can see that, and hire him to do some pictures!! (Honestly, that is not intended as a hint!!!)

Norma Irene Buchanan, Age 5

My oldest sister's little girl. Norma's pictures were a last minute decision. My mom usually has some extra clean clothes for all three of her grandchildren, but this day all she had was this little dress that had stains all over the front. We solved that problem by putting it on her backwards!!!! If I hadn't told, how many of you would have known??!! If only ALL of our "subjects" would be as cooperative as the children were!!!!!

Well, there you have it, a small taste of the talent God has given my husband with the camera!! On a future posting, I plan to show off more of his work!!

P.S. I do have another niece, and we felt bad for not being able to do her birthday pictures as well. One of these years we will be sure and get them done!!! I think we may just do her pictures next time we are with her anyway...Christy, you plan on that ok? It may be close enough to the school year that we can count them as school pictures.
